| Carrie Buck was used as a weapon to push Eugenics
legislation in the 1920s. She was used as a pawn in a
movement that created fifty years of forcibly sterilization
in America. So many things happen in our lives that we have
very little control over. Carrie Buck was denied the
fundamental right to choose. She was denied dignity. The foundation of freedom is Dignity. When you are denied this basic right to make decisions about your body you are denied
dignity. A life without dignity will never be free. |
